TOP GLOVE REMAINS COMMITTED TO WORKER WELFARE

Shah Alam, Tuesday, 16 March 2021 Top Glove wishes to confirm that its appearance at the Ipoh Sessions Court today was for the case’s first mention in relation to an inspection by the Labour Department (JTK) in November 2020 under Workers’ Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities Act 1990 (Act 446). The matter has been set for remention on 28 April 2021 and the Company has claimed trial.

Top Glove wishes to assure its stakeholders that it remains highly committed to ensuring high quality welfare, health, working conditions, and living accommodation for its workforce. The Company has also set out current and midterm plans to continuously improve the standard of the various types of accommodation it provides to its workers.
