TOP GLOVE RESPONDS TO AN INCIDENT AT ITS FACTORY IN IPOH, MALAYSIA

Shah Alam, Thursday, 29 October 2020 Top Glove can confirm that at approximately 5:45am today at its factory in Ipoh, Malaysia, there was an incident involving one of its production workers.

As an immediate step, the affected production worker was administered with first aid by Top Glove’s Emergency Response Team including first aiders. The injured worker wassent to the closest hospital without delay. He was urgently given full attention and treatment by the hospital’s medical personnel and is reported to be in stable condition.

In compliance with Top Glove’s Occupational Safety and Health policy, the company is moving quickly towards establishing stringent and added remedial measures to continue promoting the wellbeing of its workers and making sure its workers are kept safe from harm and injury.
