Top Glove Global Doctors now a DC Preferred Partner Clinic worldwide

Shah Alam, Friday, 29 September 2017 – The newly opened Top Glove Global Doctors (TGGD) Medical & Dental Clinic, a partnership between Top Glove Corporation Bhd and Global Doctors Hospital is now certified with the German-based TEMOS international quality healthcare certification, having successfully fulfilled international quality healthcare standards. It is the first Ambulatory Care Centre medical clinic in Asia to receive this award.

TGGD is also the first ambulatory care centre to be established in Setia Alam. Strategically located in Top Glove Tower, it aims to serve staff as well as neighbouring communities, focusing on preventive healthcare and offers services including consultation, diagnostic, rehabilitation, emergency and a fulltier dental clinic.

An onsite assessment was carried out by the International Independent Accreditation Body, TEMOS, on TGGD Medical and Dental Clinic recently where the clinic met their stringent clinical and non-clinical criteria. The award was presented by the Founder & CEO of TEMOS International GmbH, Dr Claudia Mika to the Executive Chairman of Top Glove Corporation Bhd, Tan Sri Dr. Lim Wee Chai and Chairman of Global Doctors Group, Dato’ Dr. Sharifah Fauziah Alhabshi, and witnessed by the Ambassador/Head of Delegation of the European Union in Malaysia, H.E. Mrs Maria Castillo Fernandez together with the Counsellor for Economic, Commercial and Environmental Affairs, German Embassy in Malaysia, Mr Jens Brinckmann.

The official Certification Presentation Ceremony will be held in conjunction with the 8th International TEMOS Conference in Dusseldorf, Germany from 3-5 December 2017, where TGGD will be joined by more than 120 international medical facilities, healthcare specialist centres and medical travel coordinators to receive the prestigious certification.

One of the highlights of the conference would be the Diplomatic Council Award Ceremony for TEMOS Certified Facilities. Medical care providers and medical travel coordinators that have passed the TEMOS certification will be exclusively awarded and listed in the “DC Preferred Partner Hospital/Partner Clinic/Medical Travel Coordinator” Directory. They will be officially recommended to embassies and consulates by the Diplomatic Council.
