The world’s largest manufacturer of gloves honoured for achievements in human resource management

 

Shah Alam, Thursday, 21 November 2019 A glowing testament to its strong performance in human resource management, Top Glove Corporation Bhd (Top Glove) garnered several prestigious local and regional HR awards in October and November 2019 namely:

  • Graduates’ Choice Award 2019: Champion (Manufacturing)
  • Malaysia’s 100 Leading Graduate Employers 2019: Winner (Chemicals and Heavy Industries)
  • HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work for In Asia 2019 (Malaysian Chapter): Winner
  • AIA Vitality Malaysia's Healthiest Workplace Award 2019: Highly Commended (Large Organisation)
  • HR Excellence Awards 2019: Bronze Winner for Excellence in Talent Management

No stranger to participating in established award programs alongside other world-class companies, Top Glove achieved its 4 th consecutive win at both Malaysia’s 100 Leading Graduate Employers and HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work for In Asia, as well as its 3rd consecutive accolade at AIA Vitality’s Malaysia's Healthiest Workplace Award. Meanwhile, the Graduates’ Choice Award and the HR Excellence Awards were maiden wins for Top Glove.

These awards recognise Top Glove for its leadership in multiple aspects of human resource management. Malaysia’s 100 Leading Graduate Employers and the Graduates Choice Awards which are based purely on votes by students for their employers of choice, reflect the company’s strong employer branding amongst graduates. AIA Vitality’s Malaysia's Healthiest Workplace Award fetes companies that promote workplace health and create a healthy work environment, having obtained feedback directly from employees on their wellness levels. The HR Asia Awards signify high levels of employee engagement and a good workplace culture, while robust HR initiatives are a key criterion in winning the HR Excellence Awards.

Expressing his delight, the Executive Chairman of Top Glove, Tan Sri Dr Lim Wee Chai said, “We are very pleased and honoured to have won these awards for our multi-pronged efforts in caring for the wellbeing of our people. These awards speak to a people-centric culture at Top Glove, which we have been cultivating since the company’s inception in 1991.”
