With this in mind, we practice the 5 Quality Wells: Eat Well, Clean Well, Work Well, Exercise Well, Sleep Well to ensure we are able to contribute positively to our family, company and society.

Clean Well
Ensure good hygiene by brushing teeth and cleaning the tongue 3 times a day, and bathing 2 times a day. Complimentary Dental Kits: Top Glove provides dental kits to all employees annually. Dental kits include a toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, and tongue cleaner. In FY2018, Top Glove invested about RM195,000 in dental care alone.
Eat Well
Be sure to eat quality food with variety, balance, moderation and not based on quantity. Malaysia Healthy Plate: Top Glove encourages healthy eating by following the Malaysia Healthy Plate "Quarter Quarter Half” method for meals provided by the company during events.
Healthy food competitions: Competitions are organized among Top Glove factory canteens in Klang, Malaysia to encourage preparation for healthier meals.
Top Glove Breakfast Day: Employees in Malaysia are treated to healthier versions of their favourite local breakfast such as the Nasi Lemak.
Work Well
Encourage working smarter, faster and harder, be proactive and Seng Mok (alert). Have a positive mindset and be honest. In order to work well, Top Glove believes in being proactive and having a positive mindset. Accordingly, employees work in accordance to Top Glove’s Business Ethics of Honesty, Integrity and Transparency while encouraged to pursue continuous learning and improvement.
Exercise Well
Exercise about 30 minutes a day, 4 to 5 times a week to avoid being under or over stressed. Fitness benefits: Free Membership to Top Healthy Fitness (Company Gym), up to 70% subsidy for swimming lessons, and 50% subsidy for fitness classes.
Sports activities: Frequent sports activities are organized for employees to encourage more exercise.
BookDoc Activ Corporate programme: Free membership for employees to encourage more exercise through walking.
Sleep Well Sleep 7 to 8 hours a night Employees are encouraged to have adequate rest times and sleep 7 to 8 hours every night.

Employee Health score

Top Glove is continuously putting effort in employee wellness, with the ultimate goal that every employee can live healthily and being productive in daily work and life. According to our wellness statistics, percentage of staff with BMI > 25.00 kg/m² in FY2019 had increased to 17.5%, mainly due to inclusion of newly acquired entities (F34PM, F36, F37, F38). The company is implementing wellness initiatives to the new entities actively and move towards achieving Top Glove’s standards. Nevertheless, as compared to the average Malaysian population, Top Glove staff still appeared 63% lower for category overweight and obesity in FY2019.
