1. DEBRIEF SESSION ON TRANSPARENCY IN CORPORATE REPORTING 2019: ASSESSING MALAYSIA’S TOP 100 PUBLIC LISTED COMPANIES

On 18 February 2020, Top Glove’s Integrity Unit organised a Debrief Session on Transparency in Corporate Reporting 2019. We were pleased to welcome Dr Mark Lovatt, CEO of Trident Integrity Solutions Sdn Bhd, who shared the report with us, along with Ms Roshni Jayantilal, CEO of Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance and Ms Hazel Lim, Associate at Trident Integrity Solutions Sdn Bhd. Top Glove Corporation Bhd was ranked 11th out of 100 Public Listed Companies for this assessment with a score of 85%.

2. W.H.I.T.E INTEGRITY DAY

8 JANUARY 2020

On 8 January 2020, the Integrity Unit organized a W.H.I.T.E Integrity Day, specifically for Top Glove’s Board of Directors and senior management . The itinerary of the W.H.I.T.E Integrity Day included a wrap up video presentation on the W.H.I.T.E Integrity Roadshow, Launch of Top Glove’s Anti Bribery and Anti Corruption eBook, a Corruption Free Pledge by the Board of Directors & senior management and a knowledge sharing session on the Corporate Liability Provision (MACC Act Section 17A) by Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia (IIAM) audit committee chairman, Mr. Lee Min On.

3. W.H.I.T.E INTEGRITY ROADSHOW

Top Glove’s Integrity Unit conducted a W.H.I.T.E Integrity Roadshow to educate internal stakeholders on the Top Glove’s Integrity Unit conducted a W.H.I.T.E Integrity Roadshow to educate internal stakeholders on the Corporate Liability Provision (MACC Act Section 17A). The roadshow was carried out at all Top Glove factories except China.

To cancel white collar crime with W.H.I.T.E.! It is an initiative to fight bribery and corruption by instilling positive values. W.H.I.T.E. can be interpreted as clean, pure and good hearted. It symbolizes integrity and the company’s aim to instill a positive corporate culture of sincerity and good ethics within the entire Group. We believe that when our employees practice good values, it will have a major impact in reducing the likelihood of misconduct within the business.

Wells Clean Well, Eat Well, Work Well, Exercise Well, Sleep Well To incorporate the 5 Quality Wells as recommended by the company’s Founder and Executive Chairman, Tan Sri Dr Lim, in order to have a healthy work-life balance. 4. FIVE PETAL BEIM GOLD ETHICS AWARD 2019 – 2020

In October 2019, Top Glove was awarded the Five Petal Gold Ethics Award by the Business Ethics Institute of Malaysia (BEIM) in conjunction with Global Ethics Day and the Malaysian 5th Business Ethics Round Table at the Royal Selangor Golf Club in Kuala Lumpur. The half day programme also welcomed Guest of Honour, Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz, whose keynote address focused on the topic of ethical practices relevant to Malaysian businesses.Top Glove Corporation Bhd and Thumbprints Utd Sdn Bhd were the only companies to receive the Five Petal award.

5. THE BUSINESS ETHICS CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION (BECE) 2019

11 APRIL 2019

In April 2019, Top Glove sponsored and participated in the Business Ethics Conference and Exhibition 2019, which was held at the Securities Commission of Malaysia, in Kuala Lumpur. It was a one day programme in which reputable panel speakers discussed ethical practices and anti corruption topics, particularly those relevant to Malaysia. Top Glove also had a booth during the conference, displaying our products and sharing information on our anti corruption initiatives as well as other activities.

6. TOP GLOVE, THE SOLE PRIVATE SECTOR REPRESENTATIVE TO RECEIVE THE NATIONAL ANTI CORRUPTION PLAN (NACP)

29 JANUARY 2019

Tan Sri Dr Lim Wee Chai and Top Glove were selected as the sole Private Sector representative to receive the National Anti Corruption Plan (NACP: 2019 to 2023) from YAB Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia, at the Putrajaya International Convention Center on 29 January 2019. Playing our part as a responsible corporate citizen and public listed entity, Top Glove will develop our own anti corruption plan in support of the newly launched NACP as well as to demonstrate our commitment to moving forward together with the Government’s vision towards a corruption free nation. The Top Glove Anti Corruption Plan is a three-phase execution plan comprising 30 initiatives adopted from the 115 initiatives of the NACP, based on those most relevant to our business and the industry.

7. Top Glove’s field trip to other companies was aim to learn about anti corruption and whistleblowing practices in other companies, which would enable Top Glove to continue improving our systems and practices.

Dialogue session: Whistleblowing Processes & Procedures In An Organization

A closed door sharing session was held at Top Glove Tower Level 21 Boardroom which was participated by representatives from Petronas, Telekom, Sime Darby and UMW and moderated by Transparency International Malaysia personnel. We had the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences with one another on how the whistleblowing system is practiced within different organisational settings based on the suitability and practicality of each organisation.

9. INTEGRITY DAY

The first program organized after we were certified with ISO 37001:2016. The 2 day event was a collaboration between Top Glove and Transparency International Malaysia. The Integrity Talk was held on the first day where we were honored to have Mr. Amerul Muner from INTEGRITI, Dr. Mark Lovatt from Trident Integrity and Mr. Tam Wah Fiong from Thumbprints as panel speakers. Mr. Muhammad Mohan from Transparency International Malaysia was the panel moderator.

On the second day, we organized the Integrity Run which saw participation of Top Glove staff, Transparency International Malaysia members, vendors, clients and other business partners. The event was held to advocate good governance, integrity and Anti Corruption initiatives within the private sector entities in Malaysia.
